Roger Farine

I am an ambitious hobby photographer from the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. After several years of event, landscape and night sky photography, I decided to widen my horizon and take up people photography as well.

Fribourg is a rewarding place for that: bilingual, set between the river Sarine and the Prealps, with medieval lanes at your back and Lac Noir on your doorstep. On the heights above the Gruyère the nights turn dark enough for the Milky Way, and in autumn the sea of fog settles so low that the summits rise out of it like islands.

My aim is always to learn something new and to get the best out of my images, whether under a starry sky, out in nature or with people in front of the camera.
